Hello, my name is ANA!

These are a few things that you should know about me:
Since I was little, I’ve always loved caring for kids and animals. Growing up, I often helped out in my mom's Montessori School, caring for and playing with the infants and naturally showing my love and care for them. As I grew older, families I knew started contacting me to ask for my support in taking care of their little ones. I am in college right now pursuing my BA of Physical Education & Sports.
I have cared for kids from ages 3 months up to 8 years old. And I am always trying to foster to the child's needs – from feeding and bathing to organizing fun and educational activities, like playing games, going on adventures, and tutoring. Over the years I have developed a strong understanding of how to provide and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.
During the pandemic, it was harder to help out families with kids. Which led me to have fewer opportunities to support other parents. So I started reaching out to friends and family to assist with pet care. I love animals! So much! Especially dogs. Over the past few year, I’ve fallen in love with pets of families that have asked me to take care of them. I am taking them on walks, doing check-ins and play time during the day, and I also come over for longer period of times and overnight stays while the owners are out of town. Working with animals has taught me even more patients, which is something I am able to incorporate in all of my work.
I have met some incredible people in my neighborhood, that have hired me and love the services that I provide. Because of my care and love, they have trusted me with their pets and have recommended me to other pet owners.
I want to make families, pet owners, and parents feel unbelievably comfortable with any service that they’re getting. By being diligent about any safety precautions/procedures, following best practices and guidelines for safe care-giving, and staying up-to-date on any relevant safety information.
I am a stickler for clear communication and strive to over-communicate. I like to give families check-ins (like sending pictures or videos or giving a brief description of how the kids and/or pets are feeling/doing and what activities we already did or we're going to do).

One important thing about me is, that I always want to make an impact on someone, and I believe I can do so by taking great care of anything that you hold dear, like taking care of children. Not only that but it allows me to let my inner little kid out, and it's something I love to embrace with kids. With animals it's similarly beautiful, as they show their love in such an unconditional way without needing to communicate verbally - I never get enough of that! It's so pure.

The work with children and animals brings the best out in me. And please know, I am not only doing this to give a helping hand, but to hopefully make a difference in the families' lives, as it brings me so much joy.
And I want to share it, that's my purpose. :)
